Mac vs. Windows Round 3

By the time I thought that I start to become a Computer expert –at least for my level. But then I checked out some Pro’s forums and the result was a lot of confusion from my part again.

Well, even though I found out more about the competition between these two mammoths. To make it short, here it is:

MAC

-          Safari is the best and fastest Browser. It shows websites in a nice way and is very user-friendly (like the whole Mac)

-          You can just close your Mac Book when you are done and open it again whenever you like. No long boot-up time but nevertheless no long-time software bugs

WINDOWS

-          Shorter keyboard combinations: To insert e.g. a footnote you just need Alt, I, N, in a Mac you need the following: -F2, I, Enter, F, O, O, Enter. Furthermore there are four control keys (Fn, Ctrl, Option/Alt, Apple-key) in an Apple that bring some results in combination with other keys. So who can remember them all?

-          According to some bloggers Apple sometimes has problems with big text files and also Skype does not work faultlessly always

All these investigations on Mac and Windows made me feel like I missed the wood for the trees. So I just asked my friends again, what they prefer spontaneously. A Mac Book won, because Read more…
